Cletis Carr

Perched firmly atop the Americana / blues summit, singer-songwriter Cletis Carr knows a good yarn. Draped in a rich tapestry of shimmering acoustic steel-string and gritty resonator slide guitars, his story-songs play out like mini-movies. Raised in the USA, Carr first tasted success with his 1980’s new wave band Sneakers, which launched a solo career that’s taken him all over the planet. Over the years, he’s toured and shared stages with the likes of Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Elvis Costello, Joan Jett, and Huey Lewis, just to name a few. In Australia, he’s performed with members of AC/DC, The Easybeats, Rose Tattoo, and many more in the blues rock
world.

Trouble & Me is his tenth solo album. The first singles, Hard Working People, and Dirty Blue Jeans have already racked up over 20k views on YouTube, and thousands of streams on
