The iconic Carrington Hotel is located in the heart of Katoomba in the beautiful Blue Mountains. This heritage-listed four-star property offers 65 charming rooms and suites accommodating business and leisure travellers. Onsite venues include a restaurant, cocktail bar and lounge frequented by in-house guests and visitors.  

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operation of our Housekeeping department at The Carrington.  

The Role:

You will be responsible for all aspects of housekeeping including laundry operations within The Carrington Hotel. This role will cover accommodation and all public areas. Your passion for delivering quality service will see you lead and mentor our dynamic team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

About you: 

• A minimum of 12 months experience in a housekeeping leadership role within a 4- or 5-star accommodation establishment. 
• You will be a hands-on leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure.
• Proven organisational skills and diplomacy in dealing with delicate situations.

Essential requirements

• Available to work rosters over a 7 day week including on-call.
• 3-5 hours per day depending on occupancy levels.
• Experience in cleaning accommodation and public areas desirable.
• Attention to detail.
• Australian work permit.
