Getting Here

The Carrington is located in Katoomba, Blue Mountains – a UNESCO World Heritage region west of Sydney, Australia.

Via Car

The Carrington is under 2 hours (~100km) FROM SYDNEY via the M4 & Great Western Highway.

From Sydney, take the M4 west to the Blue Mountains. 

The M4 becomes the Great Western Highway at the base of the Blue Mountains (Lapstone). Continue along the Great Western Highway to Katoomba. 

Take the Parke Street exit off the Highway, turning left over the railway bridge. Take the first left at the first roundabout onto Bathurst Street, then first right at the next roundabout onto Katoomba Street.  

The Carrington is directly on the right, behind ‘Carrington Place’, Katoomba’s town square. Entry is via the Katoomba Street driveway. 

Onsite Parking

Onsite parking for overnight guests is available via the Katoomba Street entry. Please see Reception on arrival.

Onsite parking is available for casual hotel visitors and Carrington Cellars customers, via the Parke Street entry. 

By Train

Trains operate between Central Station & Katoomba Station on the Blue Mountains Line.

This 2-hour train trip departs from Central Station’s Country Trains platform – view the Transport NSW timetable information.

The Carrington is located ~200m from Katoomba Station.

Alight at Katoomba Station and use the Katoomba Street/Main Street exit. Cross the road via the pedestrian crossing and continue along Katoomba Street,  you will see The Carrington on your right.

Katoomba Taxi Service or 13CABS service the upper Blue Mountains. A taxi rank is located at Katoomba Station. Contact Reception to arrange a taxi during your stay or on departure.
