Scott Brinckley’s Tree of Us

Scott Brinckley’s “Tree of Us” is a trio built around Scott’s singular vision as guitarist, vocalist, and bandleader to— drawing on blues, jazz, R&B, and fusion — with arrangements injected with unexpected, yet delightful, twists and detours that reward close listening. His originals channel the blues-rooted sophistication of Robben Ford and Richie Kotzen, and standards reimagined through Scott’s distinctive touch.

Joining him are Peter Kennard on electric drums and Grace Young on fretless bass. The three share a chemistry that makes space for genuine improvisation — real musicians, playing live, pulling something together in the moment that you just can’t replicate in a recording or social Reel. Scott and Grace alumni of Southern Cross University’s Contemporary Music program, Peter a composer and performer across theatre, film, and large-scale public events. Collectively they have spent decades honing their performance chops and composition craft, which become evident in their live performances together.
