Ship of Fools

This ship is manned by veteran players experienced in rock, blues, pop and acoustic music. Until recently this trio have played in the larger band format in pubs, clubs and functions usually to a dance floor audience with a full drum kit. Seeking quieter, more sensitive ‘unplugged’ sounds with an emphasis on finding the right instrumental, Ship of Fools are all set to bring their talented ensemble to the Old City Bank.

Playing a diverse range of songs from the sixties to contemporary, from mainstream to the obscure. They play forgotten gems by great bands, blues and roots as well as indie and alternative genres, particularly Australian Artists such as The Church, Ed Kuepper, The Triffids, Julia and Angus Stone and Paul Kelley.

Their set also includes songs from artists such as The Beetles, rolling Sones, Neil Young, Rod Stewart, Dylan and Cream to Lou Reed, Talking Heads, R.E.M., Tony Joe White, Booby Gentry and David Gray.
