The Carrington precinct offers in-house guests a range of facilities and spaces to enjoy. General public visiting the Hotel whom are not overnight guests are most welcome to enjoy the Cocktail Bar, Lounge and Dining spaces.
Onsite parking for overnight guests is available via the Katoomba Street entry. Please see Reception on arrival.
Hotel guests have access to three tethered Type 2 destination chargers (single phase 32A /7kW max) located in our secure car park.
The Carrington’s garden was established by famed Danish landscape architect Paul Sorensen. After working in Germany and Switzerland Sorensen migrated to Australia in 1915, finding employment under Sir James Joynton Smith as The Carrington’s gardener.
In-house guests enjoy exclusive use of the Billiards Room equipped with two tables, board games and library. Lounge-style seating accommodates larger groups and families traveling together.
Guests staying on the Colonial Floor of the Hotel have access to the lounge located on this level.
In-house guests can utilise the Chifley or Sir Henry Parkes rooms subject to availability (please note any existing event bookings in these rooms take precedence).
