The Carrington is a heritage-listed landmark and Australia’s only 19th century grand resort hotel still in use. Located in Katoomba, it sits within the Blue Mountains, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage area.

Original architecture and subsequent remodelling features Italianate, Edwardian, and Art Nouveau styles, with an early twentieth-century garden layout and sweeping driveway. 

Located at virtually the highest point in Katoomba, the chimney of The Carrington is considered to be one of the highest freestanding chimneys in the state. The garages and former powerhouse facing Parke Street provide a semi-industrial backdrop.
